Terms and Conditions of Service – LockoLocker

LockoLocker connects travelers with reliable local stores to leave luggage for a few hours or a full day, so they can make the most of their time in the city. The platform is designed to be simple, safe, and available where you need it.

1. Service overview

LockoLocker (“we”, “our”) provides an online service allowing travelers (“Users”) to book temporary supervised spaces at partnered facilities (“stores” or “Partner Locations”). The platform facilitates supply and demand; actual luggage custody is handled exclusively by the partners.

2. Registration and use

Users must be at least 18 years old and register with truthful, complete, and updated information. Users are responsible for safeguarding credentials and activities carried out with their account.

3. Bookings and payments

Bookings are confirmed once payment succeeds. Payments are processed by certified providers (e.g., Stripe); LockoLocker does not store sensitive payment data. Prices shown at checkout include taxes where applicable.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation terms are shown at booking time. Cancellations within stated deadlines may receive a full refund; partial deposits or partial cancellations are not allowed. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. LockoLocker may retain applicable handling fees.

5. Responsibility for luggage

Partner Locations hold luggage for Users according to legal limits and terms communicated at check-in. LockoLocker is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage beyond what is provided in the partner’s agreement. Users should avoid storing valuables, cash, perishable food, animals, or hazardous substances.

6. User obligations

Users must provide correct information about number, type, and size of luggage, respect stated times, collect luggage by the agreed deadline, and behave respectfully toward staff.

7. Partner obligations

Partner Locations agree to store luggage with reasonable care and respect availability and hours published on the platform. LockoLocker assumes no liability for any non-compliance by individual locations.

8. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockoLocker is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or damages arising from use (or inability to use) the service.

9. Intellectual property

All platform content (texts, logos, trademarks, graphics, code) is the exclusive property of LockoLocker or its licensors. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited.

10. Privacy and data protection

Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the platform. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Users’ data.

11. Changes to these terms

LockoLocker may update these Terms and Conditions at any time; changes are effective when published on the site. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute related to interpretation or execution, the exclusive jurisdiction is Milan, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
